Description:	The report covers an area in southeast Venango County, northwest Pennsylvania. Major text topics include topography, surface and subsurface stratigraphy, surface and subsurface structure, oil production, oil pools, and gas pools. The subsurface oil- and gas-bearing Venango sands are described in detail. Selected well records, oil reserves, and sample analyses are available in the tables and appendices. There are several maps at a scale of 1:62,500 that show oil- and gas-producing areas in various sands, property lines, well locations, lines of well-to-well sections, and surface and subsurface structures.
