Description
This report documents a large number of copper and uranium occurrences within one area of the Catskill Formation in northeastern Pennsylvania. It begins with a history of copper and uranium prospecting in the region, a description of the geology of the area, and a summary of previous and contemporaneous studies. The bulk of the document is devoted to a generalized description of copper and uranium deposits, and detailed descriptions of the individual occurrences. The report contains many photographs of field locations and mineral specimens. Analyses of channel samples, statistical studies, and geochemical interpretations are in appendices. The report has four plates: a map of locations of occurrences, two plan maps, and a cross section of individual occurrences.
