Description
This publication is a study of and a field guide to the clastic wedge of the Upper Devonian Catskill Formation. It includes measured sections in the areas of Newport, Girtys Notch, Shamokin Dam, Bloomsburg, Bowmanstown, and New Ringgold. The studied outcrop belt and localities are shown on a small-scale map in the report. The area is in east-southern and east-central Pennsylvania, around and between the Susquehanna (north of Harrisburg) and Lehigh Rivers. There are numerous photographs and descriptions throughout the report.
