Description
This report consists of a text and a full-color hydrogeologic plate presented at a scale of 1:62,500. Using geology based largely on the 1950 geologic map of Pennsylvania, the report provides a fairly comprehensive description of the geologic units mapped in Bucks County. Chemical analyses of water from 65 wells and information on the construction and yield of 652 water wells are used to summarize the hydrologic characteristics of each of the geologic units. Wells are listed in tables that summarize well construction and other parameters, and well and spring locations are shown on the plate.
