Description:This miscellaneous investigation supersedes OFMI 15–16.0, a bathymetric (lake-depth) map of George B. Stevenson Reservoir in Sinnemahoning State Park in north-central Pennsylvania. Behr prepared the new map after the lake was dredged in 2016. The map is presented as a color oversized map and two smaller scale maps (one color and one black-and-white). The larger map plate is 14 inches by 20 inches, and the smaller map plates are 8.5 inches by 14 inches. The report is one of many similar reports that were produced by the Pennsylvania Geological Survey at the request of state park managers and is of use to anglers and boaters visiting the park. In addition to water depths, the maps in these reports display fish-friendly structures, such as stumps or downed trees, and they show amenities in the parks, such as boat ramps, concessions, and restrooms. A readme file reminds the user of the limitations of these maps—although useful as a guide, they are not to be used for navigation.
