Description:This is a report on the geology and mineral resources of the Millersburg 15-minute quadrangle in what is now called the Ridge and Valley physiographic province of central Pennsylvania. The text describes in detail the Silurian, Devonian, and Mississippian rocks found in this quadrangle. The structure, economic potential, and engineering uses of the rocks, and the water resources of the area are also reviewed. The report includes a cross section showing the folding of the bedrock through this quadrangle and a 1:24,000-scale map showing the bedrock geology.
