Description:This report is about the bedrock geology and unconsolidated quaternary deposits of the Lock Haven 7.5-minute quadrangle. The text describes the regional structural geology as well as the economic resources including metals and nonmetals, fire clay and coal, oil and gas, and water. Detailed descriptions of the lithologic units and accompanying map symbology provide an interpretive guide to the multicolored, 1:24,000-scale map.
