A Smart New Tool for Local Parks
The Department of Conservation & Natural Resources / Bureau of Recreation &
Conservation is creating a statewide local park GIS layer for use by state,
county, and local municipal staff as well as the general public.
DCNR developed a web-based mapping tool, which allows real-time input from
stakeholders. Registered users have the ability to add a park, modify a park and
remove a park, thereby leveraging local knowledge in order to further the
accuracy of the local parks geodatabase development. Login with your user
